Hingham 9-11 Ceremony

The Hingham Fire Department will hold a small 9-11 ceremony on Wednesday morning, September 11th at the Central Fire Station to remember those lives lost 23 years ago.

Participants will assemble at 8:30 AM by the Memorial Stone. Fire Department Chaplain Steve Grissom will be in attendance to say a few words and offer a prayer. At 8:46 am, the time of that the first plane, AA Flight 11, hit the WTC Tower 1, the Hingham Fire Département will ring the bell 5-5-5-5 to remember all those that perished, public safety first responders, military personnel and citizens.
